Our client, Mr Harrison, envisioned his urban garden as both a functional family space and a peaceful retreat. The design extends seamlessly from the home, with defined zones for dining, entertaining, and relaxation.
At the centre, a welcoming seating area framed by elegant hard landscaping and lush planting offers year-round interest and privacy. Natural stone paving complements the home’s architecture, while evergreens and seasonal perennials bring structure, colour, and vibrancy. Discreet lighting enhances the atmosphere and extends use into the evening.
The result is a timeless, modern garden — practical, elegant, and perfectly suited to family life.
A central seating area was designed as the heart of Mr Joseph’s garden — a welcoming destination surrounded by vibrant planting that feels connected to the home yet beautifully private. By bringing greenery close to the house, the design ensures year-round interest and creates an immersive connection with nature, offering a dynamic view from inside the home.
Seasonal planting provides rhythm and beauty throughout the year: fresh greens and blossoms in spring, bold perennials and soft textures in summer, warm tones of grasses and shrubs in autumn, and evergreens with subtle highlights in winter to keep the garden alive in every season.
